Due to the handmade nature of my cups, I recommend hand washing to further extend the life and beauty of your cup. Like regular and plain tumblers, these cups can scratch up and ding as well. Take care of your glitter cup like you normally would and treat it like it is glass to prevent these types of accidents (dropping and tossing wildly about will certainly inflict damage).

Absolutely! The clear coat I use is 100% safe and FDA compliant for food contact. Like any other food accessory, always wash before the first use.
